ACTIVITIES

Park Villa Nursing Home offers a variety of activities and events for our residents and their families.

Throughout the year we host a number of seasonal ‘themed’ events, where the residents themselves often enjoy being involved in preparation activities such as baking and decorating. In addition to these special events, our residents have a number of other opportunities for extracurricular activities such as painting and craft activities, baking, bowling and other sporting events, seasonal projects – such as decorating Easter eggs and planting flowers and plants, as well as enjoying live entertainment or their favorite movies.

Residents assist the Clyde Chamber of Commerce with activities such as preparing Halloween treat bags, filling Easter eggs for the Clyde Easter Egg Hunt and stuffing gift bags for Santa’s Christmas visit to Clyde. Park Villa hosts ice cream socials each Thursday, inviting community members to come and enjoy homemade ice cream with the residents.

Church services are held weekly on an alternating schedule between the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, United Methodist Church, Christian Church and the Brantford Covenant Church. The rosary is recited each Wednesday.

A beautician is available weekly for hair and nails.

Members of the Clyde community often frequent the nursing home to take part in many of these interactive activities.
